Why Ryan's Picnic Is the Deciding Scene
Ryan's picnic contains one confirmed route lock. Volunteering ourselves opens Ryan's romance; recommending the red dragon completes the pairing prepared in Conrad's earlier conversation.
Name record: Used in the game interface and established player route records; not found in the official store copy reviewed here.
Ryan's Picnic Choices and Relationship States
These scenes are ordered inside Ryan's recorded story. A highlighted choice is not automatically an ending branch; the label beside each answer tells us what the recording actually demonstrates.
React when Ryan brings the picnic inside

Ryan's picnic starts with a lighter dialogue choice. Both replies continue to the relationship question, so this is a tone change rather than a route lock.
Ryan answers and the picnic continues to the same dating question.
Changes the conversationRyan reacts warmly and the same picnic route continues.
Changes the conversationChoose Ryan or complete the Ryan–Conrad pairing

Ryan asks whether we know someone he could date. This menu is the second real fork: one answer locks Ryan's romance, while the other completes the cross-character pairing opened in Conrad's scene.
Ryan and Conrad become the active pairing. Because we remain unattached, Alexander's later invitation can still open.
Continues with another dragonFollow the result in the endings guide →We volunteer ourselves as Ryan's date. The following picnic and relationship scenes continue on Ryan's route.
Locks a routeFollow the result in the endings guide →Ask Ryan about the watermelon

This follow-up changes Ryan's immediate answer. It does not undo the relationship choice we just made.
Ryan responds to the joke and the same route continues.
Same route continuesRyan gives the alternate response and the same route continues.
Same route continuesTell Ryan how we feel about the picnic

The answers change how directly we return Ryan's affection, but the recorded scene does not show a new route unlock here.
We answer more directly; the existing Ryan relationship route continues.
Same route continuesWe give the softer response; no separate ending effect is demonstrated.

Once the picnic menu displays “Locks in Ryan romance,” later Ryan scenes proceed with us as his date. Ordinary replies can alter dialogue without replacing that lock.
Ryan and Conrad become a pair
This result needs both menus: first introduce Conrad to Ryan, then recommend the red dragon at the picnic. It is a relationship state inside the shared story, not a fourth official ending.
Finish the Ryan-focused run
Continue the locked Ryan relationship through its remaining scenes and credits. “Ryan route” is our navigation label, not a developer-published ending title.
Ryan Choices That Are Worth Recording
Ryan's Picnic Hotfix
OFFICIAL PATCH The Kobold Hotfix corrected picnic-scene edge cases. Update before using an older workaround, then separate a real interaction lock from an ordinary dialogue pause.
How to Recognize Ryan
Ryan is the pale blue-white dragon. His name status is shown above because a common player name and a name printed in official patch notes are different levels of evidence.

Ryan Route FAQ
Is Ryan a separate campaign?
No. Ryan appears inside the same shared run as the other two dragons. This page isolates his scenes so we can follow them without pretending the game starts three separate campaigns.
Does every Ryan dialogue choice change the ending?
No. The scene archive separates route locks from dialogue changes and ordinary scene variations. Only a choice with a demonstrated later result is presented as a branch.
Does Ryan have an official named ending?
The developer confirms 3 endings but does not publish character-ending names. “Ryan route” is a navigation label used by this guide.
